I note that I now have 99 followers and as promised when this reaches 100 I will be giving a prize, I shall get someone at Sunday's fair to pick out a number between 1 and 100, I have yet to decide what the prize will be, any suggestions will be gratefully recieved.

stew pots or cauldrons

Not done a great deal new, still busy getting ready for my next fair which is only two weeks away and I still have three commissions to finish.
Photo is of three stew pots or can be used for small cauldrons, have filled them with a stew like mixture as you can see from photo two., the pot on the left measures 13/16" tall not including the handle.
Thanks to all my new followers for joining and as promised there will be a gift to be raffled between my first 100, all I have to do now is think of something to offer.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend and if you are anywhere near Leeds on saturday then pop into the Dolls House Fair at Pudsey, my friend Mags will be there, check out her blog, link below, she's made some excellent things for this fair.

New stoneware incl 1/24th scale

Hi everyone, was asked at our last fair about some slightly smaller stoneware flagons/jars, so here we are 3 new ones slightly smaller and also the two on the right are 1/24th scale measuring just 9/16" tall, I can do other designs but need to see how these go first. The ones in the photo have yet to be glazed but wanted to photograph them first.

Today if I feel up to it I want to have a tidy up in the workshop, I saw the tidiest workroom ever last night on someone else's blog, can't remember who's now though, but it made me feel ashamed of mine.

Thanks to all who now follow my blog, 43 at the last count and only been at it a couple of months, when I get to 100 I will be doing a giveaway, this seems to be the current trend and I have no problem with that, I will put everyone's name in a hat I think rather than just give it to number 100, mind you that's a long ways off yet.

Apothecary Bottles and Jars

Been making some new additions to my range, apothecary jars for witches, downside of these is I am having severe problems with labels, the largest of these bottles is 13/16" tall, I daresay I will get round it and if I do they will appear on my website with the labels, the one on the yellow bottle is not readable it's that small, don't even know if it's the right way up!
None of the tops are removable.
Can do a good trade deal on a set of these unpainted, just email me through my website if interested.

Witch's Cauldrons

Well I think tomorrow morning has to be a 'clean up' morning, twice I spilt my cup of tea, thankfully no damage to the cup, but I work in a mess, always work in a mess and expect I will carry on working in a mess.
Amongst other things I have made 4 filled witch's cauldrons today, photos not so good as they don't really show up the bones and bits so well, but these will be on sale at Stourport on May 1st.
Only ever made one before and sold it, was asked about one of these at my last fair, sod's law no one will want one at Stourport, but hey ho that's life!

Names in Frames

Decided today that I needed to refresh my frames, moulds have almost had it so going to remake the main selling frames plus add a smaller one for the range, without a doubt the frames are my best seller, so need to make sure they are in tip top condition when I sell them.
And whilst on the subject of frames, my daughter Sally and son in law Ben have started their own business and that's called Names in Frames, a fresh idea for weddings and special parties etc, just click on the link below to see samples of their work, I think it's an amazing idea.
Ben also designs logos amongst other things, so if you're having problems designing something then he could be your answer, he designed my logo and also the PMP Fairs logo.

Sutton Coldfield fair

My latest three turnings above, had a very good day yesterday at Sutton Coldfield, sold a few turnings amongst other things, a day of rest then getting ready and looking forward to the Stourport fair on May 1st.
